Ann and I have called Vernon our home since 1999. I’m running for City Council because the decisions we make today will shape both our lives now and the community we build for the future.

How I’ll Serve

Good Decisions don’t just happen. They come from doing the work well.

Listen First – Seek out the people and perspectives affected by a decision.

Ask good questions – Understand the facts, challenge assumptions, and consider consequences.

Build on what works – Respect the community planning and good work already done.

Think long term– Balance today’s needs with tomorrow’s opportunities and obligations.

My Priorities
Expanding Housing Choices

Increase housing choices so young adults can build a future here, families can find homes that meet their needs and budgets, and seniors can age in place.

Growing wisely

Focus growth where we can make good use of existing neighbourhoods, infrastructure, and services – while helping to revitalize our downtown, expanding transportation choices, protecting natural areas, and avoiding unneccessary long-term costs.

Preparing for Tomorrow

Strengthen our local economy, community connections, natural environment and public finances so Vernon can adapt to change, respond to challenges, and make the most of new opportunities.
