Municipal concerns rarely have simple answers. Housing, taxes, growth, water, our changing climate and many other issues deserve more than a slogan or social media post.
In these Deep Dives, I explore some of the issues facing Vernon. I don’t claim to have every answer. These thoughts reflect what I’ve learned so far. As I listen and learn, my thinking may change. If it does, I’ll try to explain why.
I hope these Deep Dives give you a clearer sense of the kind of councillor I would be: I’ll listen widely, ask good questions, do the necessary homework, and explain how I arrived at a decision.
